International Sanctions Compliance Policy

1. Purpose of the Policy
This policy ensures that EAPES.COM complies with all international laws and regulations concerning economic and trade sanctions. It applies to all transactions and interactions with users, partners, and third parties, and aims to prevent any violation of sanctions imposed by bodies such as the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the United States, the European Union, the United Nations, and other competent authorities.
2. Scope of Application
This policy applies to:
- All users of EAPES.COM, including holders of NFTs and utility tokens ($EAPES).
- Business partners and service providers.
- Transactions conducted via the platform, including the purchase, sale, and exchange of NFTs and tokens.
3. Identification of Sanctions
EAPES.COM commits to:
- Regularly monitoring sanctions lists published by competent authorities (e.g., OFAC, EU, UN).
- Implementing automated filtering systems to identify sanctioned users or entities.
- Refusing any transaction involving individuals or entities listed on these sanctions lists.
4. User Verification
- Upon registration or use of services, users may be subject to identity verification (KYC) to confirm they are not under sanctions.
- Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information. Any false declaration may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
5. Prohibited Transactions
- Users must not conduct transactions with sanctioned individuals or entities.
- EAPES.COM reserves the right to block or cancel any suspicious transaction or one that violates international sanctions, without prior notice.
6. Training and Awareness
- EAPES.COM staff are regularly trained on international sanctions and associated compliance procedures.
- Users are informed of their legal obligations through the General Terms and Conditions of Use and periodic communications.
7. Reporting Violations
- Any suspicion of a sanctions violation must be reported immediately to legal@eapes.com.
- EAPES.COM will fully cooperate with competent authorities in the event of an investigation or official request.
8. Policy Review
This policy is reviewed annually or upon significant changes in sanctions laws. Updates will be communicated to users via the website or email.
